Preventive Archaeological Excavations

Most of Italy’s territory can be compared to a history book and the strata are the pages. In special cases (historic centres, known archaeological areas, etc.), a watching brief is not enough and the Archaeological Board requires preventive archaeological excavations before development. These excavations are required by law in order to obtain the necessary building permit. Akra Iapygia’s experienced archaeologist are able to  face every eventuality and deal with archaeological issues through best practice solutions (for timeliness of execution and scientific thoroughness).

If completing the project on time guarantees staying within the budget, scientific rigor provides the objective data the Archaeological Board needs to release an appropriate and circumstantial permit quickly and without further assessments.
